This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project – Project 610-19-203 Install HVAC Units for O&IT: 1. It is the intention of the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (Marion Campus) to solicit bids for the following: Provide materials, labor, equipment and supervision to install HVAC a) It is the intention of VA Northern Indiana Health Care System to solicit bids for the installation of HVAC units for the OI&T Equipment rooms. b) The rooms or closets to be renovated are in Buildings 15, 16, 17, 124, 138, 172, 174 and 185.The installation will include: i. Demolition and repair of walls, ceilings and floors for access. ii. Installations of new cooling systems per design. 2. Contractor is to remove all trash and debris from campus in a proper manner. 3. All above work to be done in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. with a standard size of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 21 August 2020 via https://beta.sam.gov/opp/. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
