This is an emergency requirement to provide emergency power from building 65 to the pharmacy. The Work includes the following: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment for the demolition and construction services needed to complete the project. All work shall meet drawings and specification requirements as well as any applicable manufacturer’s recommended installation procedures. Description Of Work Provide and install new 400 amp breaker in Panel MDA-BP. Provide and install new disconnects after the new transformer. Provide and install new 3/0 conductors in existing conduit from MDA-BP to new transformer. Provide and install new 3/0 conductors from the new disconnect to the new ATS. Provide and install (1) one new 480 volt 120/208, 300 KVA transformer. Provide and install a pre-pored 6” thick concrete base. Concrete pads shall be 4” farther out on all sides of the actual foot print. Provide and install (2) two new 3 1/2” EMT conduits and 600 mcm conductors from transformer switch to existing panel M2 NPSB in crawl space. Provide and install (1) one new Cummins 800 amp Bypass Transfer Switch – Power command unit. Provide and install a pre-pored 6” thick concrete base. Concrete pad shall be 4” farther out on all sides of the actual ATS switch foot print. Provide and install (2) two new 3 1/2” RIDGID conduits and 600 mcm conductors from the transfer switch to building 1 existing panel 1C-DOC-7 in crawl space. Provide and install new pull boxes to intercept existing conduits. Provide and install communication trunk lines from the Cummins Transfer Switch to the Cummins monitoring system in room E136. Transfer will be after hours on a weekend. Provide excavation for a small section of additional pipe from the outside of the building 1 to the ATS switch and transformer. Provide USP 797/800 Certification of Clean Room.
