THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT POSTING. The Contractor shall provide marine landing craft services necessary to remove and transport 25,000 to 30,000-pounds of scrap metal and hazardous materials (used oil, used antifreeze, and spent lead-acid batteries) located at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facility on Middleton Island, Alaska. The Contractor will also provide stevedore services to unload at their port of destination and transport scrap and HazMat to local recyclers. The FAA will arrange for delivery to the landing ramp at Middleton Island. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: The Contractor shall provide marine transportation to port of destination. The Contractor shall provide transportation from port of destination to local recyclers. The Contractor shall provide receipts and/or certificates of recycle for all materials. See attachments.
