The purpose of the attached Statement of Work (SOW) is to acquire Contractor services to manage the OIG telephone hotline by receiving and recording any allegations of fraud, waste and abuse and forwarding the reports on to OIG hotline investigators for disposition. Hotline services must be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and must be answered by a live person (no voice mail can be utilized). Allegations may be reported by DOT employees, contractors, or the general public issues that may be reported are the following: Computer Crimes, Employee Misconduct, False statements and False Claims just to name a few. The NAICS code for this effort is 561421, Telephone Answering Services. The anticipated period of performance proposed is five (5) years inclusive of a one (1) one year base period and four (4) one year option periods). Award will be based on the best value.
