Purpose of Announcement: This is a market survey/sources sought notice for vendors who are interested and capable of providing two integral components of the switching circuitry for the single pull double throw switch: Capacitor Chip Part # 584R560H10 Switching Diode Part # 584R574H01 Please note, this notification lists two pieces of equipment which could be two separate requirements, so make sure to reference which item (or both) your company is submitting interest for. The contractor must furnish all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials to produce a Form, Fit, Function (FFF) alternative for the items, as laid out in the attached statement of works (SOW). The FAA is seeking interested vendors for these switch components. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only to assist in building a procurement package. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with this market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. That will be determined on the responses received from this sources sought/market survey. At this time, all correspondence, to include questions or interest, need to be submitted to the Contracting Officer via email at abigael.k.schultz@faa.gov. Phone calls will not be answered. Please reference "Sources Sought” in the subject line of your email and include the following information: 1. Which component (or both) you are expressing interest in 2. Capability Statement highlighting type of supplies that are provided by your firm 3. CAGE code and DUNS number All responses to this posting must be received by 5:00 p.m. Central Time (Oklahoma Time) on Tuesday June 30, 2020. Please note: We will not release any information provided but if something is deemed PROPIETARY, please mark this on all documents as necessary.
