The FAA is conducting a Market Survey to engage industry and solicit innovative ideas, recommendations, and solutions in accordance with and in response to the FAA’s Problem Statement (Attachment A). The FAA is seeking these innovative ideas (e.g., technologies, concepts and business models) to support the development of its Oceanic Air Traffic Management (ATM) 2035 vision and strategy. The plan is to build stakeholder consensus for an oceanic vision that describes the evolution of oceanic Air Traffic Management (ATM) services, operations, procedures, policy, and automation for FAA managed international airspace over the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans. This market research and associated solicitation of ideas is not an acquisition, but will aid in strategy development, which could lead to future acquisitions.
