Announcement Amended to extend the due date until Februray 1, 2022. No other changes are made in this amendment. The FAA is issuing this public announcement in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System Section 3.2.1.2.1. Please note that: This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposal. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. All costs associated with responding to this RFI or participating in demonstrations are solely the responsibility of the interested party; and The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gain a better understanding of methods and techniques that can be used to implement and then deploy a micro-segmented Zero Trust architecture in the national air transportation infrastructure and supporting systems. This RFI is limited to micro-segmentation solutions that support the ZT security paradigm, specific micro-segmented related technologies, and transitioning both the current FAA information and operational technology infrastructure environments to a ZT micro-segmented infrastructure.
