Introduction/Purpose The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Flight Program Operations is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information (RFI) for planning purposes for a requirement to upgrade the Bombardier CL-605 civil transponders to Honeywell TRA-100s and Honeywell TPA-100B TCAS processor. 2. Nature of Competition The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or a set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to the market survey. 4. Disclaimer This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor’s expense 5. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code The NAICS code has not yet been determined. 6. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey Please refer to the 2 attachments for further detail to the information being requested for submittal. Any other assumptions, concerns, or questions may also be submitted in response to this Market Survey. 7.
