This is a program to replace up to 612 aging air traffic surveillance radar systems across the United States with modern, commercial-off-the-shelf solutions by June 2028. The FAA plans to award initial contracts by December 2025 for approximately 151 radar systems, with delivery required by September 30, 2026. The work involves providing cooperative, non-cooperative, or integrated radar systems for installation at existing FAA facilities nationwide.
