There is no solicitation available for this requirement and no award will be made from this notice. This notice is to seek interested vendors with the capabilities to design, construct, install and test a new Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) 4 replacement sail. Any interested party would have to provide company capabilities with past experience in the design, fabrication and installation of this or similar products. Past Experience should be within the past 10 years but older experience will be considered. The components needed for the ARSR-4 antenna sail are the sail, vertical tower components, horizontal box beam components, required connectors, reference antenna, and reference antenna cable. Drawing is attached for reference purposes only. The ARSR-4 is a 3-D, long range, L band surveillance radar that provides search height and detection of small targets from 5.0 to 250 nmi. The radar antenna is an array-fed aperture composed of a parabolic reflector and feed array. There two configurations options: Configuration 1- includes the sail panels, vertical tower sections, connecting channels and spacers, reference antenna, reference cable, and hardware. Configuration 2 - includes configuration 1 plus the horizontal box beam sections, hardware, and the beacon mount assemblies. Receive Beams - The radar utilizes a phased array feed system and a reflector antenna that are housed in a radome. The ARSR-4 antenna produces 9 receive beams. In addition when in Circular Polarization (CP), the ARSR-4 produces 3 CP weather beams labeled Low, Medium, and High (L, M, and H). Transmit Beams - The ARSR-4 transmit beam consists of two fan beams, one for the lower elevation receive beams called Low Stack and one for the upper elevation beams called High Stack Frequency Operation - The unit shall be capable of operation within specified limits over the frequency range of 1215 to 1372 MHz. Attached drawings are for reference only. All measurements are in inches unless otherwise specified. Offerors shall provide a Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) for the design, fabrication and testing of a new antenna.
