General Information: The mission of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) is to assure civil aerospace safety through excellence in medical certification, aerospace medical education, human factors research, aerospace medical research and occupational health services. CAMI's Aerospace Medical Certification Division (AMCD) is responsible for fulfilling the aerospace medical certification needs of approximately 620,000 U.S. pilot certificate holders. The purpose of this market survey is to understand current market conditions, availability, interest and capability in the provision of a firm-fixed contract of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Digital Imaging Software Solutions which permits the government’s medical experts to coordinate and review submitted diagnostic quality images securely for the purposes outlined in the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO) in support of the government’s requirement in full. Privacy and Security are of the utmost importance. Interested parties shall include, Name of Entity, Contact Information and Information regarding proposed system with a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) complete with anticipated costs for the initial purchase and estimated costs for four (4) additional years thereafter. All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for information or administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with Market Survey/Request for Information submissions will be solely at the interested party’s expense.
