The FAA is conducting market research to determine its acquisition strategy for a potential future contract, seeking statements of interest from qualified vendors. The intended strategy is to award a single Firm Fixed-Price contract to the lowest price, responsive, and responsible bidder. The agency is using this research to consider setting aside the requirement, in whole or in part, for small businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and 8(a) businesses, and may also consider a local area set-aside. All requirements documents are currently in draft format and subject to change. Responses must be received by 4:00 p.m. Central Time on January 16, 2026, and submitted electronically to a specified email address.
