The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF) has a requirement for 3,500 feet of 2 AWG 3/C 15KV type MP-GC power cable with class B copper conductors. See attachments for details. Refer to Sections 9 and 10 of the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for submittal instructions and evaluation criteria. RFQ Amendment 1 The purpose of this amendment is to post the Questions and Answers (Q&A) and include the revised Bill of Materials (BOM), Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, and Price Sheet to reflect that the submittal of the manufacturer's test reports and certificate of cable testing will now be required after the electrical cable is manufactured instead of with quotation submission. RFQ Amendment 2 The purpose of this amendment is to post the second set of Questions and Answers (Q&As) and include the revised BOM and Combined Synopsis/Solicitation to reflect the following: Removal of ASTM B496 Delivery lead time changed to 30 weeks after receipt of order (ARO) Solicitation is extended through August 5, 2022 at 1 PM Pacific Time. REMINDER: Quoters should propose a cable in accordance with the BOM specifications.
