The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF) has a requirement to haul out the craft, abrasive grit blast and preserve the hull and topside surfaces, replace the anodes, inspect shafting, steering system and rudders and perform general repairs for the DYNAMO (PF-615) identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). See attachments for details. Amendment 1: The purpose of the amendment is to include site visits. All firms intending to submit a quotation should plan to attend site visit. A site visit may be arranged by contacting Mr. Jeff Siragusa via email at jeff.siragusa@dot.gov or telephone at (707) 745-5604. Site visits will be scheduled on or before July 31, 2020. Due to COVID-19, attendees must provide and wear a mask and practice appropriate social distancing. Amendment 2: The purpose of the amendment is to extend the deadline for site visits, questions, and quotation submittal as follows: Site visits will be scheduled on or before August 7, 2020. Questions or comments regarding this solicitation shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email at lynda.luo@dot.gov by August 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM (PT). Quotations shall be submitted electronically via email to the Contract Specialist at lynda.luo@dot.gov by August 17, 2020 at 1:00 PM (PT). Amendment 3: The purpose of this amendment is to post the Questions and Answers (Q&As), pictures of the two ventilation ducts that are corroding and handrails, and revised Statement of Work (SOW).
