The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD), Division of Pacific Operations, Oakland, CA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for potential offeror/contractor for the purchase and delivery of 600V cable in accordance with the attached Request for Quotation. Estimated Delivery is 45-days after of award. QUOTATION SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: In addition to the referenced provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror – Commercial Items, quoters shall provide the following information: 1. Signed SF-1449 and Amendments (if applicable) Please specify how many days the quote is valid for from solicitation response date, and the delivery lead time. 2. Provide the cable manufacturer’s catalog data and drawing for the cable being offered. 3. 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items BASIS FOR AWARD – The Government plans to evaluate quotes and make award without conducting discussions. Quoters may be given the opportunity to clarify certain aspects of their quote or resolve minor or clerical errors. Award will be made to the responsible quoter with the lowest total evaluated price whose quote is acceptable based on the submitted requirements of the Statement of Work and the solicitation. All quotes and quotation submission information is due by 12:00 p.m. PCT on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. The preferred method for submittal is via email to Monique.leake@dot.gov. No faxed quotes will be accepted. Please reference the solicitation number 6991PE20Q000025 on your quote. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at the prime rate, as published daily in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75 percent.
