This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6991PE20Q000017 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04, effective 01/15,2020. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 336611, small business size standard 1,250 employes. The U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Maritime Administration, Oakland, CA, has a requirement for the TS GOLDEN BEAR to clean Galley Grease Traps and MSD P-Traps. The services are to be accomplished per the attached Statement of Work (SOW) provided in the attached RFQ.
