This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6991PE20Q000012 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. The U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Maritime Administration, Oakland, CA, has a requirement for Steel and Pipe Repair on the Training Ship Golden Bear in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. MANDATORY SITE VISIT "SHIP CHECK" SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY 28 FEBRUARY, 10:30 AM LOCAL TIME, located at 200 Maritime Academy Dr, Vallejo, CA 94590. POC for site visit is melissa.reams@dot.gov. REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice is expected to result in a single award, subject to receipt of an acceptable quotation in accordance with the Instructions, Conditions and Notice to Offeror attached. Award will be made to the technically acceptable offeror having satisfactory, relevant past performance, whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, offers the lowest price. The Offeror's price quotation shall include a firm fixed price for individual items and the total of all items as listed on the TSGB Pricing Sheet.
