Site access is on foot a quarter mile past a locked gate at the south end of the Holzwarth Historic Site parking lot; the access road is about 13 feet wide with tight turns, requiring temporary widening and a truck turnaround, and no construction access is allowed more than 100 feet west of the bridge. Anticipated schedule is advertisement in September 2026, award and notice to proceed in December 2026, and contract completion in November 2027.
