This notice is market research to gauge interest from qualified small-business prime contractors in one of several socioeconomic programs (including HUBZone, WOSB, 8(a), SDVOSB) for the Red Rock Trail project near Las Vegas, Nevada, on the outskirts of Summerlin and in the Red Rock Conservation Area. Interested firms must provide a positive statement of intent, confirm applicable socioeconomic categories, and demonstrate bonding capability for a single $30 million project plus aggregate capacity. The work, in an environmentally sensitive area, includes about 7 miles of paved multi-use trail, widening of State Highway 159, parking area reconstruction at Moenkopi and Blue Diamond Mesa, a 14 ft x 10 ft precast concrete box culvert, MSE wall, and associated earthwork and asphalt paving. Experience must be on road/trail projects of equal or greater scope, including multi-use trail construction, highway widening, parking reconstruction, and grade-separated under-crossings.
