This project involves full-depth reclamation of the existing driving surface on Steve Thompson Wildlife Drive and Bayside Drive, followed by placement of a new aggregate surface course. It also includes installation of an aluminum gate, concrete pad, safety signs, and speed bumps. Three alternate aggregate surface course options are available, with one to be selected: 2-inch course to Renee’s Overlook, 2-inch course on both drives, or 3-inch course to Renee’s Overlook. The scope includes approximately 13 miles of full-depth reclamation and 11,000 tons of aggregate. Construction is anticipated from January 2027 to August 2027, with an estimated project cost between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
