TX FLAP UV CR203(1) Fish Hatchery Road The project will widen and reconstruct 0.71 miles of CR203(Fish Hatchery Road) that serves the northern access to the Uvalde National Fish Hatchery (NFH) and eight private property accesses. Roadway widening from 15-feet to 24-feet will be on one side of the road, allowing use of the existing roadway for project phasing. Suggested phasing plans show phase 1 as widening of the west half of the road with embankment and aggregate construction in, then phase 2 shifts traffic onto the west-side aggregate base while FDR embankment, and aggregate work is completed, to be followed by roadway asphalt paving. Grading of ditches, culvert work, signing, and striping is also required.
