CA NP MOJA 11(2) 10(2) KELBAKER, KELSO-CIMA, CIMA and MORNING STAR MINE ROADS
This project involves improvements to approximately 56.5 miles of roads within Mojave National Preserve in San Bernardino County, CA, including resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation. The estimated cost for the work is between $80,000,000 and $120,000,000. Work includes full depth reclamation, new asphalt pavement, roadway widening, low water crossing reinforcement, and safety enhancements. The project is in a natural resource sensitive area with environmental constraints affecting construction operations. Prior experience on projects of similar magnitude is required.
