This project consists of the rehabilitation (3R) of approximately 11.4 miles of Arizona State Route 261 between the Town of Eagar and the intersection of State Route 273 in Apache County, Arizona. The figure below provides a visual summary of the project location. This project consists of pulverization and paving of approximately 11.4 miles of existing asphalt paved roadway. Work also includes drainage improvements (new pipe culverts ranging from 24-inch to 48-inch diameter), lining of large diameter culverts (60-inch to 66-inch) and new guardrail installation. APPROXIMATE QUANTITIES for major work items: 33,000 tons of asphalt concrete pavement, gyratory mix, 11.42 miles of full depth reclamation, 1,000 cubic yards of riprap, 1,600 linear feet of pipe culvert, 600 linear feet of culvert lining, and 3,500 linear feet of guardrail.
