The CO ERFO 250(1) Alamosa Canyon Road project is located in Rio Grande County, CO within the Rio Grande National Forest, approximately 20 miles southwest of Monte Vista, CO. This project will provide replacement of one drainage structure damaged in a 2019 flood event with a concrete box culvert. The major work elements include debris removal, timber decking construction, and pedestrian bridge timber rail construction. Line Item Unit Est. Quantity Embankment Construction CUYD 1000 Riprap CUYD 100 Roadway Aggregate TON 250 Concrete Box Culvert (14’x8’) LNFT 36 Contract award is anticipated in March 2021. The estimated period of performance would consist of a notice to proceed in April 2021 and a fixed completion date in September 2021. The proposed project is estimated at a cost of between $250,000 and $500,000.
