AZ FTBR Levee Road (1) Pave Levee Road This project consists of paving approximately 2.6 miles of the currently gravel surfaced Yuma Valley Levee Road in Yuma County, Arizona. The existing gravel surface will be reconditioned and supplemented with additional aggregate base prior to paving. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The anticipated advertisement date is September 2020 with construction anticipated from December 2020 to May 2021. SIGNIFICANT QUANTITIES: 6,700 tons of asphalt concrete pavement, 5,000 tons of aggregate base. MISCELLANEOUS: Construction phasing, temporary traffic control, and timely completion of construction will be crucial to minimize disruptions to recreation area visitors and agricultural operations throughout construction and achieve customer satisfaction.
