AMENDMENT 1 ISSUED TO RESPOND TO RFI QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used to determine the set-aside for this project. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement to modernize the irrigation system at the Salt Lake City ARTCC. The scope of work includes but is not limited to Abandonment and capping of irrigation lines as shown on Contract Drawings. Removal of sprinkler heads where marked for abandonment Resurfacing lawn areas where abandoned irrigation lines previously provided coverage as shown on Contract Drawings. Resurfacing work includes earthwork, site clearing and installation of low maintenance vegetation and landscaping. Modification of irrigation system to alter water coverage to reduced lawn areas. Restoration of all lawn areas damaged by construction to original conditions.
