The contract requires elevator maintenance to keep equipment in substantially the same condition throughout the contract period. The contractor must perform monthly examinations and adjustments, plus minor repairs or replacement of small parts costing $700 or less each, at no additional cost to the FAA. Major part replacements must be supplied to the FAA at the lowest available price, with labor and installation covered at no extra cost. Emergency services and all repairs and adjustments are also provided at no additional cost. Additional facilities may be added at the government's discretion as detailed in the solicitation's Scopes of Work.
