The FAA is issuing a competitive selection for BEYOND Phase 2 to award up to eight Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), not procurement contracts, in support of Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Advanced Air Mobility Integration. The program targets four focus areas—infrastructure, scalability, safety, and automation—as well as operational challenges such as public safety, controlled airspace, remote rural areas, on-airport operations, and cross-border operations. Eligible offerors are state, local, tribal, and territorial governments that must have an active SAM.gov registration. Proposals must be submitted via email, and questions must be submitted in writing as specified in the SIR.
