The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to establish a Qualified Vendors List (QVL) for Cab Glass repair and/or replacement in various US locations.
The FAA is establishing a Qualified Vendors List (QVL) for the repair and replacement of glass window units in Airport Traffic Control Towers across the United States, divided into Western, Central, and Eastern Service Areas. The total estimated value of work under this QVL is $10,000,000 over five years, with no dollar limit for individual orders. Services include measuring, removing, and installing various glass types, such as insulated and laminated units, with work performed at FAA facilities nationwide. Offerors must demonstrate corporate experience with five relevant projects valued over $40,000, including glass installation in control towers or high-rise buildings at least 60 feet above ground. Evaluation will consider past performance, a plan of execution, and key personnel qualifications, with submissions limited to 20 pages.
