Annette Island, AK Remedial Investigation (RI) and Remedial Action (RA) for Site 51 and 53
The FAA requires a remedial investigation and action at two sites on the former FAA Station on Annette Island Reserve, Alaska. The project has significant local considerations, including mandatory experience with Metlakatla Indian Community regulations and policies, sourcing all excavation backfill from MIC, and managing complex logistics and remote fieldwork challenges. Fieldwork is expected to be completed during the Spring/Summer season of 2026, utilizing 60-hour workweeks with a planned hiatus in early August. The FAA is currently seeking capability statements from interested SBA 8(a) certified vendors to gauge market interest for this requirement.
