The purpose of the Amendment is to extend the bid/proposal due date for the Solicitation. Due to the technical nature of this project, additional time is required by potential contractors to submit a suitable bid/proposal. Therefore, the bid/proposal due date is hereby changed from Aug 27, 2024, 03:00 pm EDT to Sep 3, 2024, 03:00 pm EDT. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. XXXXXXXX The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Acquisitions-AAQ-570, College Park, GA, is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-24-R-00374, BQN ARSR Grating and Guardrail Replacement, Aguadilla, PR as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW) attached to the Solicitation in accordance with the Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.2 Policy as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Design and install a new elevated walkway grating and a new handrail system; to include but not limited to verifying the structural soundness of existing elevated walkway structural members, demolition and site preparation, lead abatement, replacing the existing walkway grating with new, replacing or modifying the existing handrail system with a new system, and corrosion/rust preventative coating of the newly installed systems. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is set-aside and offered to all small business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332323: Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing, Standard Size – 500. The estimated cost magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Projected Period of Performance for this project is approximately 120 calendar days. When responding to this Screening Information Request/Request for Proposal (SIR/RFP), each offeror is required to submit a technical proposal AND a cost proposal in accordance with the Screening Information Request (SIR) provision in Section L entitled, "Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors."
