Introduction/Purpose The FAA has a requirement for multiple facility services as part of a Land Scaping Services Contract at various locations throughout Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. Currently there are 26 locations being considered for inclusion in this contract. The types of services to be provided are listed below and vary from location to location. Not all services are required at all facilities. Land Scaping Services Grounds Keeping Pest Control Vegetation Control Snow Removal The FAA is contemplating a Firm Fixed-Price contract with a base year + multiple option years. The start dates for the Base Year will be finalize at the time of award, but is expected to begin 10/01/2024. 2. Nature of Competition The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time. The results of this Market Survey will determine the final acquisition strategy. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of this procurement for small businesses, disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. 3. Standard Language (a) This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind. (b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. (c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. (d) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor’s expense. 4. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey The FAA is requesting that interested companies submit responses based on their capability to perform the requirements in the attached Statement of Work. The submitted Capability Statement (LIMITED TO 5 PAGES ONLY) must be presented in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF in size 12 Times New Roman text. The Capability Statement must include your UEI number, CAGE code, and declaration of any Small Business Association Certifications. 6. Delivery of Submittals All submissions in response to this market survey must be received by 02:00 pm EST February 10th, 2024. Send response via email to bill.lockard@faa.gov . Other Information (a) The FAA will not be conducting a pre-proposal conference and/or a site visit prior to submittals in response to this market survey announcement. Such information will not be disclosed outside of the acquisition team. (c) The FAA anticipates releasing the SIR in the months to follow the Market Survey.
