IIJA Air Traffic Control Towers Execution Strategy

Notice ID:697DCK-23-R-00355

The FAA is conducting market research for the construction of up to 30 air traffic control towers nationwide by 2030, seeking interested construction vendors, with a focus on expanding participation from small and disadvantaged businesses and potential mentor-protégé arrangements. The performance locations for these tower builds are spread across the United States, including specific sites in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Georgia, South Carolina, Illinois, Kentucky, Texas, Idaho, California, and Utah. A key requirement is that the prime contractor must perform at least 15 percent of the contract cost (excluding materials) with its own employees. The agency is requesting written expressions of interest and capability statements from vendors via email to a specified Contracting Officer. This is a planning announcement and does not guarantee a future procurement.
