The new bid/proposal due date is 11 July 2023 at 1500 EST. ***** On 5/30 we added a document titled "Asbestos Results for QKW roof 29DEC2022.pdf" to this posting to assist bidders. ***** REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: DUE JUNE 29, 2023 3:00 PM EDT The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Acquisitions-AAQ-570, College Park, GA, is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-22-R-00333, QKW ARSR Roof Replacement, Neah Bay, WA as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW) and Drawings attached to the Solicitation in accordance with the Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.2 Policy as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Remove and replace roofing system, nailers/blocking, plywood, insulation, flashings, temporary roof system, industrial gutter system, and all other roof materials. The project will require the replacement of any existing damaged lightning and surge protection, grounding, bonding and shielding. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is set-aside and offered to all small business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238160 – Roofing Contractors, Standard Size - $19 million. The estimated cost magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 Projected Period of Performance for this project is approximately 90 calendar days. When responding to this Screening Information Request/Request for Proposal (SIR/RFP), each offeror is required to submit a technical proposal and a cost proposal in accordance with the Screening Information Request (SIR) provision in Section L entitled, "Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors."
