The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), AAQ-5A0 - Regional Acquisitions is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-23-Q-00046 for SELEX model 2100 Instrument Landing System (ILS) Factory Training, as detailed in the Statement of Work attached to the Solicitation, in accordance with the Acquisition Management System (AMS). NOTICE: The FAA has been exempted from several Federal laws and regulations as part of the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act, signed into law by President Clinton on November 15, 1995. Some of the exemptions include the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Small Business Act, the Competition in Contracting Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS), which became effective on April 1, 1996, is utilized in place of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). OFFER SUBMISSION Please complete the SIR/RFQ including representations, certifications, signature, date and pricing. PLEASE REFERENCE THE SIR/RFQ NUMBER IN ALL CORRESPONDENCES TO ENSURE PROMPT AND PROPER PROCESSING. EMAILS WITH ATTACHMENTS THAT DO NOT REFERENCE A SIR/RFQ NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT LINE, WILL BE DISREGARDED TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COMPUTER VIRUSES. NOTE: The electronic submission should be in either Microsoft WORD format or portable document format (PDF), not in a zipped format. Please note that the FAA e-mail server restricts file size to 10MB per email message, therefore, responses may have to be submitted in more than one e-mail in order to be received.
