No contract of any kind will be a result of this announcement. The Portland TRACON (P80) is located in the base building of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Portland International Airport (PDX). The existing base building has been recently remodeled into the TRACON, and this project will be to “clean up” miscellaneous work items left over.Value of the project is less than $250,000.00 The following is a summary of the work items Item 1: Install wiring to electrify two central vacuum outlets located in the TRACON and ETG Laboratory. The work consists of installing low-voltage control wire from the central vacuum to outlets and installing hose connections. Preliminary route has been established Item 2: Remove and replace blinds along south and east corridors of the TRACON. Horizontal blinds to match what is currently existing at the facility Item 3: Debrief Room miscellaneous drywall patching, repair, and paint. Approximate room size is 12’ X 14’. Color to match the existing room walls. Item 4: Remove and install ESD carpet tiles in Electronic Equipment Room. Approximately five racks that measure 38’ X 54’ account for about 50% of the space. Contractor must field verify. Item 5: Fire Stop Equipment Room Penetrations: Fire stop room penetrations on north, south and west sides. The room is approximately 15’ tall with multiple penetrations and difficult access at height due to existing utilities. The rating for the fire stop is one-hour minimum T-rating. Item 6: Replace existing Electronics Room entrance door, frame, and hardware with fire-rated assembly. Contractor must field verify dimensions and components. Note that dimensions may be atypical. Item 7: Modify cable tray penetrations to create fire-rated arrangement Item 8: Encapsulate exposed beam in hallway with fire-rated gypsum construction assembly.
