In addition the closing date is extended until July 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), EnRoute and Terminal Facilities Program intends to prequalify contractors interested in in receiving the Request for Offer (RF0) to modernize a building recently acquired by the FAA at 3721 Macintosh Drive, Warrenton, VA. The purpose of this Screening Information Request is to request specific information necessary for the FAA to determine which vendors meet the FAA’s minimum qualification requirements for this solicitation. The Request for Offer (RFO) Phase II will be issued to the prequalified contractors (short-list) which is limited to the highest final overall scoring six (6) Offerors or fewer (if six contractors do not meet the requirements of the SIR). The Request for Offer (RFO) Phase II will be issued to the prequalified contractors (short-list) in late July 2022. Contract award is anticipated to be made by October 2022. Electronic standard design plans, specifications and other documents will be issued to the prequalified contractors at the RFO stage. The estimated performance time is 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated construction price range is $10,000,000.00 to $20,000,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction - $39.5 million. This procurement is unrestricted and all contractors are encouraged to respond. All documents are attached to this annoucement.
