This is a Sources Sought to be used for a market analysis and not for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation available for this requirement and no award will be made from this notice. This notice is to seek interested vendors with the capabilities to fabricate: 872 Crystal Oscillators 872 Crystal Ovens 200 PROMS for the Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) 4 Long Range Radar. The ARSR-4 will no longer be able to operate in the spectrum 1300 to 1350 Mhz and will need new crystals to alter the transmitting frequency that is generated from these crystals. The fabricated crystal oscillators, crystal ovens, and PROMS will be installed in the ARSR-4’s once they are proven to successfully operate the system in the appropriate spectrum. A statement of work and drawings are attached for reference only. Any interested party is required to provide company capabilities detailing company experience in the fabrication of oscillating crystals. Past Experience within the past 10 years is preferred but will consider anything exceeding 10 years. The components needed for the ARSR-4 crystal oscillators are the crystals, ovens and PROMS. Interested Parties shall: Detail their ability and experience in producing or outsourcing the defined items. Provide a Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) for the defined items.
