This specification covers the requirements for the Facilities and Equipment (F&E) project at Ontario International Airport in Ontario California. The work includes the following: Replace the existing runway 26L localizer (LOC) equipment shelter and replace existing runway 26L distance measuring equipment (DME). The scope of work for this project is outlined below, but is not limited to the following activities: • Layout and Site Preparation, • Excavation, • Installation of pre-cast and/or cast in-place reinforced concrete foundations, • Hand hole installations, • Placement of Prefabricated Equipment Shelter and installation of required conduit and terminations to building • Electrical power service work, • Underground electrical/control conduit/duct bank installation, • Electrical cable installation and testing, • Electrical grounding, • Equipment assembly (DME), • Moving of Equipment (LOC equipment rack), • Associated site work and cleanup, • CAI and systems acceptance.
