The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has the requirement is for the installation of a new Lightning Protection System for an existing security fence and the connection to an existing ATCT Electrode Earth Sytem (EES) at El Paso International Airport in El Paso, TX. Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal. Please note the FAR references cited in Beta.SAM are not applicable to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS). This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR. A site visit is scheduled for March 17th, 2020 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. To attend the site visit please submit your name, company, and contact information to Erin Crabtree at erin.m.crabtree@faa.gov no later than March 10, 2020. All questions regarding this SIR should be submitted in writing to Erin Crabtree at erin.m.crabtree@faa.gov. All questions must be received no later than April 24, 2020. Proposals are due no later than May 1, 2020 @ 1700 CST. Any proposal received after 1700 CST on May 1, 2020 will be considered non-responsive and will not be eligible for award. To be considered for award of this requirement, the offeror must have a current/valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, the offeror must submit a proposal that is in accordance with Section L and Section M of this SIR.
