Voice Switch Headset and Handset System
The FAA has issued a Sources Sought for Competitive Prototyping under an Other Transaction Authority via a Memorandum of Agreement for a Voice Switch Headset and Handset System; it is a market survey, not a request for proposals or offers, and the FAA will not pay response costs. The agency seeks statements of interest and capabilities from large businesses, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and 8(a) firms capable of supplying the described items, with interested vendors to be contacted by the Program Office after the notice closes to coordinate the MOA. Respondents should follow the attached instructions, including an 8-page limit, company contact details, email submission to Jason.M.Perry@faa.gov, proprietary marking for sensitive information, and no marketing materials; excess information will not be reviewed. Requested information includes SAM.gov UEI, company size and socio-economic status, NAICS 334210 (Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing) and any suggested alternative NAICS, teaming partners’ socio-economic statuses, SAM registration for SDVOSB/VOSB, any GWACs held, and a capabilities/qualifications overview with proposed solution and product description. The FAR references in SAM.gov do not apply because FAA follows its Acquisition Management System, and questions go to Jason Perry at Jason.M.Perry@faa.gov.
