The FAA has issued an RFI seeking statements of interest and capabilities for storage, conditioning, quality screening, maintenance, procurement, and shipping of Ultralife UBBL13-01 lithium-ion batteries. Responses will help the FAA assess market capability and determine the acquisition strategy, including potential small business, SDVOSB, or SBA 8(a) set-asides under NAICS 493110. Interested vendors should provide a capability statement covering relevant experience, past performance and contract values, customer references, years in business, and a proposed execution approach aligned with the attached draft Statement of Objective. This is not a request for proposals or offers, and any future SIR/RFP may be issued under a separate announcement. Information submitted will be used solely for market research, and vendor response costs are solely at the interested vendor’s expense.
