Sources Sought for Powered Lift Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training
The FAA is conducting a market survey to identify sources capable of providing commercial off-the-shelf Powered Lift Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training for its Flight Standards Service and Aircraft Certification pilots. Interested vendors must submit a capability statement detailing their training types, previous contract experience, SAM UEI number, and years in business, along with the geographic area where training would be provided and their expected approach. The applicable NAICS code is 611512 (Flight Training) with a $34 million size standard, and the survey will help determine whether the procurement is full-and-open or set aside for small business, service-disabled veteran-owned, or SBA 8(a) certified firms. The FAA will not reimburse any costs incurred in preparing responses, and this market survey is not a solicitation or request for proposals. Respondents who are SBA 8(a) certified must include their certification letter, and all questions must be emailed to the contract specialist.
