Amendment 0001- Helicopter Field Maintenance Training on Four (4) Various Bell Helicopters for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness (Maintenance/Avionics) Inspectors
This amendment reopens the FAA solicitation, extends the response period, posts industry Q&A, replaces Schedule B, and updates the instructor qualification evaluation criteria. The FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma requires helicopter field maintenance training under ATA 104 specifications for FAA airworthiness inspectors on Bell 206B, Bell 429, Bell 407, and Bell 412 initial training. The government intends to award multiple indefinite-delivery/requirements contracts priced by CLIN with a student qualifier, competing each aircraft type separately and awarding to the lowest-price technically acceptable offeror. The contract period is one year effective 01/19/2027, plus four one-year options if exercised. Instructors must provide qualification statements and resumes showing professional maintenance technician experience, at least three years on each proposed aircraft, and at least three years of instructor experience.
