The FAA requires conversion kits to modify ATCBI-5 rotary joints at ASR-9 sites to support the Radar System Replacement architecture, using a kit that replaces existing beacon cables. The contractor must provide all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials to fabricate one first article unit, with an option for up to nineteen production units. First article delivery is due 90 days after receipt of order, and the FAA will have 30 days to accept or reject it. Following approval, the nineteen production units must be delivered no later than 180 days after notification of first article approval.
