The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to negotiate a contract on a single source basis to ADB Safegate, Columbus, OH, for the acquisition of controlling and test equipment for Facilities and Equipment (F&E) material that will be installed as Generation 2 components at Runway Status Light (RWSL) system equipped airports. This acquisition will procure the following RWSL equipment: • AGC4170/RWSL Individual Light Controller (ILC) • AGC1110/RWSL Master Lighting Controller (MLC) In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System Paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. ADB Safegate is the only approved manufacturer for this baselined system. The control equipment is designed to interface with the existing installed lighting systems. A market survey (6973GH-25-MS-02075) was posted on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website on February 14, 2025 and closed on February 28, 2025. No responses were received. The proposed principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 335129, Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500.
