This is the request for proposal (RFP) for the construction and replacement of a temporary tactical communications (TACCOM) tower and shelter located in Warroad, Minnesota. The 200’ guyed tower is to be replaced with a 200’ self-supported (SST) tower that is expandable to 220’. There is also an existing shelter that will be replaced with a 12’X20’ pre-cast shelter, that will accommodate a 50% future growth potential of rack space. This project will also accommodate the installation of a LP generator and tank with a power rating of no more than 75% capacity. All work is included in, and will be performed in accordance with, the statement of work, drawings, specifications and other documents attached to this announcement. This RFP is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort: NAICS – 238120, Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors Size Standard – $16.5M Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov by the date established for receipt of offers (September 11, 2020). All proposals and supporting documentation must be received via email no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, September 11, 2020 to: abigael.k.schultz@faa.gov Please reference "RFP 6973GH-20-R-00178" in the subject line of your email. We are not currently in the office, so phone calls will not be answered. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. To schedule a site visit, you must email the Contracting Officer to get on the list to be cleared for site visit access. Amendment 01 was posted September 1, 2020 to include the attachments for drawings and specifications. Amendment 02 was posted September 4, 2020 to extend the offer due date/time to September 18, 2020 at 12noon CST. Questions and Answers were posted September 8, 2020. No amendment made.
