This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This is a notice that the procurement is a total set-aside for Small Business. Only quotes submitted by Small Business will be accepted by the government. Any quote that is submitted by a contractor that is not Small Business will not be considered for award. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-01 effective 11/12/2019. The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking to issue a firm fixed price contract for the after-hours telephone answering service for the Beaumont Reserve Fleet in accordance with the Statement of Work – Attachment 1, Solicitation and Contract Clauses – Attachment 2 and Price Sheet – Attachment 3. The cut-off date for questions in response to the solicitation 26 November 2019 at 10:00 am CST. The solicitation closing date is 6 December 2019 at 10:00 am CST. The Government intends to evaluate quotes and award a purchase order without discussions. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Quotation Submission Instructions: Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, quoters shall submit the following: Completed Price Sheet (using the price sheet provided in the attachments) Submission shall be received no later than 6 December 2019 at 10:00 AM CST via email.
