Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 69727619Q000004 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01, effective 01/22/2019. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 336611, small business size standard 1,250 employees. The U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Maritime Administration, New Orleans, LA, has a requirement to dry dock the Training Ship (TS) GENERAL RUDDER which is homeported at the Texas A&M Maritime Academy, Galveston, TX. The contractor is required to provide all requested supplies and services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Work performed will be subject to a Service Contract Act Wage Determination applicable to the locale of the awardee's dry dock facility. REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice is expected to result in a single award, subject to receipt of an acceptable quotation in accordance with the Instructions, Conditions and Notice to Offeror attached. Award will be made to the technically acceptable offeror having satisfactory, relevant past performance, whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, offers the lowest evaluated price. The Offeror's price quotation shall include a firm fixed price for individual items and the total of all items as listed on the TSGR Quotation Pricing Sheet.
