The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) Office of Human Resource Management (AHR) is responsible for developing and managing the policies, procedures, and systems that ensure that the Agency recruits, hires, trains, and retains the right people to carry out its mission. The Air Traffic Control Specialist position is one of the FAA’s Mission Critical Occupations. The FAA uses the Air Traffic Skills Assessment (ATSA), a pre-employment selection test battery, to identify candidates who have the highest probability of succeeding as air traffic controllers. This contract will support the FAA in the development and validation of a new pre-employment controller selection test to replace ATSA.
